You may have seen one of those "Where's Waldo?" children's picture books. The goal is to find a certain man, named Waldo, in a busy picture full of other people
and things. Waldo always wears a red and white striped shirt, blue pants, large eyeglasses and a toboggan hat. Once you are familiar with the way Waldo looks, it doesn't take long to spot him in the picture.
Jesus can be found in every book of the Bible. When you know what to look for -- His redeeming grace, His atoning blood, His majestic forgiveness
-- it becomes easier and easier to see Him.
We see Jesus in the five offerings commanded in the book of Leviticus:
1. The burnt
offering draws a picture of Christ's total offering in submission to His Father's will.
2. The meal
offering illustrates Christ's sinless service.
3. The peace
offering is a portrait of the fellowship believers have with God through the work of the Cross.
4. The sin
offering symbolizes Christ as our guilt-bearer.
5. The trespass
offering portrays Christ's payment for the damage of sin.
God word says…
“Consecrate yourselves, therefore, and be holy, for I am the Lord your God. Keep my statutes and
do them; I am the Lord who sanctifies you.”
Spend time in God’s Word today. Spend time with Jesus!
Have a great day, and keep moving forward!
