Transforming Faith

In England there was a paper factory that made the finest stationery in the world.

One day a man took a tour of the factory. He asked the person giving him the tour: "What do you make your paper from?"

His guide took him to a place in the factory where there was a mountain of old dirty rags. The guide pointed to a huge pile and said, "We make our paper from these."

"In fact," he said, "the rag content is what determines the quality of the paper."

The man wouldn't believe it. How could such beautiful paper come from dirty old rags?

In a few weeks he received a package of stationery from the company with his initials embossed on each page. On the top piece were written the words: "Dirty rags transformed."

Do you know that the Bible compares the lives of men and women at our very best to "filthy rags" (Isaiah 64:6)? Praise God that He transforms dirty rags!

Following Jesus means that our old lives have been changed into something new and wonderful. Knowing Jesus transforms us!

How are we transformed? By renewing our minds. By allowing the Holy Spirit and Word of God to change us from the inside out.

Have a great day, and keep moving forward!
