My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. John 10:27-29
A little girl had been walking throughout the day with her father. Hand in hand they walked across the meadows, through a dark forest, down a country road, and over the sidewalks of town.
At the end of the day, they came to a deep and rapidly moving stream. There was no bridge. They would have to walk through the water.
"Oh, daddy!" the little girl said. "I'm afraid to cross that stream."
"Honey," he said, "you've been holding my hand all day. Everywhere we've gone, you've had your hand in mine. So, when we go through that water, just keep holding my hand."
They began to cross together. The little girl held tightly to her father's hand, and he brought her safely through.
Are preoccupied with how you will cope when struggles come your way? Learn to hold the Lord's hand day by day. That same hand that guides you on dry land will sustain you when you face deep waters.
In whatever trial you are facing today, thank God for His grace and that He holds your hand in His.
Have a great day, and keep moving forward!
