A visitor to a power plant began to walk around, and he noticed that in place after place in that power plant were signs that read "High
Bright yellow signs – "High Voltage" with the little lightning bolt under it – "High Voltage."
Those signs did not make the voltage greater; they simply reminded everyone there of what they were dealing with.
God has hung a sign around Himself to remind us with whom we are dealing. God has put a sign on Himself, and it says, "Glory – great
is the glory of the Lord."
We cannot add anything to God's glory. What does the Bible mean when it tells us to give God glory? To give God glory means to recognize
just how glorious He really is.
138:6, God’s word says:
For though the LORD is high, He regards the lowly,
but the haughty He knows from afar.
To come before God with a heart of lowliness means to come before Him, realizing who you are and realizing who He is, realizing that
He is the God of glory and that you are not. The Word of God calls for us to give God glory.
We can give thanks to God just because of His glory.
We can give thanks to God that He is not like we are; yet, He has welcomed us into His presence.
We can give thanks to God because He is so glorious … He is so perfect … He is so holy, and yet He regards the lowly.
Join me in giving thanks to God for His glory.
Have a great day, and keep moving forward!
