When Jesus saw His mother and the disciple whom He loved standing nearby, He said to his mother,
“Woman, behold, your son!” Then He said to the disciple,
“Behold, your mother!” And from that hour the disciple took her to his own home. John
A pastor was speaking to a group of children in Sunday school about the things money can’t
He told them, “Money can’t buy laughter, and it can’t buy a family, and it can’t buy love.”
Then, just to drive his point home, the pastor asked, “What would you do if I offered
you $1,000 not to love your mother and father?”
The children all stared at him in stunned silence.
Finally, a small voice asked, “How much would you give me not to love my big sister?”
Truth is … even when our families are hard to love, we love them, and there’s a God-created,
unique beauty in every family.
The incarnation of Jesus Christ is a testimony to how important the family is to God.
When God sent His Son, Jesus, to the world, He did not send Him to live by Himself in
God chose for Jesus to be born into a family.
At the foot of the cross, Jesus cared for the needs and future of His family. He also
expanded the boundaries of what family really is.
When is the last time you have praised God for your family?
Have a great day and keep moving forward!
