I watched a person the other day who was all over the charts emotionally. Happy one minute, crying the next. He was laughing and singing, and then stomping his
feet in anger.
I looked at this person and I thought: Wow, this guy is really unbalanced.
His personality is just unstable.
He springs from one emotion to the other.
He really needs help.
And then I realized: This person is 2 years old and he is perfectly normal!
It is normal for people who are spiritually immature to ride the waves of their emotions. Sad. Angry. Frustrated.
However, it’s important that we, as believers, grow in Christ. As we do, He will give us a deep joy that is greater than our feelings or our circumstances.
Have a great day, and keep moving forward!
